Tobias Enroth died on 25th January 2007, a little before his 8th birthday. He was violently attacked, totally unprovoked, and stabbed to death by a 27-year old mentally disturbed person. It was broad daylight and he was on his way home from school in the small town of Norrahammar, Sweden.

I will try to explain a little about the Swedish language and grammar. I have to say that Swedish is a very interesting language, with that famous "sing-song" quality to it, and I am finding it quite difficult to learn at times, though I have a desire to the language and am enjoying doing so.

Welcome to my website which was launched on, 26 January 2007, as an attempt to encourage me to make a serious effort at learning Swedish, and to allow those interested (who perhaps may be trying to learn Swedish themselves) to follow my progress. It’s not as easy as I hoped it would be. Read my journal for
